How long will it take to repair my car?

At the time you drop off your vehicle, you will be given an approximate time frame. Although we do our best to get your car back to within that time frame, there are unforeseen circumstances that may delay progress due to availability of parts, or possible additional damages that were not visible before taking the vehicle apart. Our staff will always keep you informed of the process and any delays, if any, that are met.

Will I get a written warranty on my repairs and paint?

A. Yes. We offer a warranty on all of our auto body and refinish workmanship. Please be sure to ask about the details.

What insurance companies do you work with?

We accept insurance claims from all major and lesser known insurance companies. Let your insurance company know that you have selected Wayne’s Auto Body to do the repairs.

Where do I go to get an estimate?

You are not required to take the vehicle to another location to obtain an estimate. You may leave your vehicle with us and ask the adjustor to inspect the vehicle here. We will negotiate with the insurance adjustor to make sure the vehicle is repaired properly. Please come by any time for a free estimate.

I have an estimate from another place. Why is your estimate amount different?

Repair estimates may vary. A lower estimate may not include necessary things such as front or rear wheel alignment or re-aiming your headlamps. Our I-CAR Certified professionals are very thorough and take all aspects of the repair into account when writing an estimate.

How difficult is it to match my paint color?

Wayne’s Auto Body will take the steps necessary to ensure your satisfaction with the match. As far as collision repair is concerned, proper paint-matching requires a high level of skill and technique and, often, a great deal of patience. Our technicians are trained and certified by the paint manufacturers, so you’re sure of selecting a repair facility that takes the time to produce a match in the perfect range and won’t be satisfied with merely good results.

Do I have to take my car where my insurance company tells me?

You are not required to use a DRP or referral shop recommended by your insurance company. You have the right to have your car repaired at the shop of your choice. IT’S THE LAW!

How do I know I’m getting what is the best for me and my car?

While we work closely with your insurance company, we understand that we work for you, the vehicle owner. We never forget that you are the customer and our main concern is your complete satisfaction with the finished repair and your entire experience during the process.

Should I have my car repaired by the dealer? Do they know more about fixing cars?

Your dealer may not be your best choice for collision repair. Many of the highest-quality facilities in the area are not affiliated with dealers. Your dealer generally has no unique edge when it comes to repairing your vehicle after a collision. Rather than just returning to your dealer for collision repair, we encourage you to be a careful shopper when selecting a repair facility. Ask others you know about their experiences with collision repair and select the shop that you think will provide the highest-quality results for you.
